Global Leadership Initiative for Class of 2021
At this time, we have stopped taking donations while we reassess our next best steps due to COVID-19 (Coronavirus).
Both Albania and Cambodia trips have been cancelled and Mexico postponed until July.
The purpose of this 12-month long program is three-fold:
1. To speak and live the gospel to others both in the local and global church.
2. To encourage and support the movement of the Gospel in and through our work with our ministry partners.
3. To find significant opportunities to exercise and develop students leadership capabilities within the High School Ministry.
During the first 6 months, students will spend most of their time in hands on preparation for their international experiences. The specifics of this training will depend on the needs of our ministry partners around the world. However, every student will learn how to share their faith and will be given ample opportunity to do so. During the final 6 months, students will meet monthly as part of our Collide Senior Leadership Team. Students will be given unique leadership roles and responsibilities within the HS Ministry at EFCC. They will be given opportunity to lead in the area of their giftedness so as to gain valuable experience putting their faith in action and will conclude their time as part of the Global Leadership Initiative by planning and running Collide Winter Retreat in 2021.
We have 3 Global Trips: Mexico Spring Break Discipleship Experience and an Overseas trip to Albania or Cambodia.
