Church in the Wild: Week 3 Playlist: HERE Lyrics: HERE Jeremy's Devo: Raise a Hallelujah Notes from Grace: I don’t know about you guys, but recently things have been flipped upside down for me. Especially for you upperclassmen, it’s scary and feels hard to rejoice right now when you think about things like prom and graduation being cancelled. Even for underclassmen, who are losing time with friends and parts of their high-school experience, it doesn’t feel like a natural reaction to praise God in these times. God constantly blesses us with these opportunities and moments but we often need to step back and remember that experiencing these things are not our purpose on this world. Our purpose is to serve Him and be ambassadors of Christ. We get so used to depending on things of this world, that we forget that the only true constant thing in our life is our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. God is never ending, never failing, and always remains true and constant. So in this time of uncertainty, let’s remember that we can always turn to Him with our burdens or fears. God never fails. Let's praise Him this week with that message in mind. Church in the Wild: Week 2 Playlist: HERE Lyrics: HERE Jeremy's Devo: Great is thy Faithfulness Notes from Chloe R.: My hope for his playlist is that it would ease any fears you may have and remind you that God is good and is in control. I've included songs that I think are great reminders of who God is and of the peace we find when we give control of our lives over to Him. Our Lord is so great and so powerful and He has a plan for our lives. He can bring good out of any circumstance. As you listen to this playlist, I ask that you would open your heart to hear what the Lord is trying to tell you through these songs. Church in the Wild: Week 1 Playlist: HERE Lyrics: HERE Jeremy's Notes: Take this playlist as an opportunity to enter into a musical dialogue with God. One where we go from recognizing our need, to surrendering our need, to recognizing His power, to embracing His power, and praising Him for meeting our need. You’ll find some worship songs you might be familiar with, and other “non-worship” songs with powerful messages. Our hope this will help you engage with the Lord during your personal worship times in the unique way that only music can do. We are confident you’ll be encouraged by it! |
